Our Story

Born from a Blessing in Bangkok

DevDeva Stone began with a single Ganesha charm, a prayer, and the conviction that sacred objects deserve to be worn — not locked away.

The Beginning

DevDeva Stone was founded in Bangkok, where spiritual practice and daily life are woven together in ways that transform both. Our founder spent years studying gemstone traditions from across Asia — Burmese jade carvers, Sri Lankan sapphire miners, Rajasthani crystal healers — and returned to Bangkok with a vision.

The vision was simple: make sacred gemstone jewelry accessible to the modern seeker. Not as decoration, but as a daily spiritual practice. Each piece would carry a specific intention, be paired with a blessed deity charm, and come with the ancient wisdom needed to make it work.

Today, every DevDeva piece passes through our sacred blessing ceremony before leaving our studio. We work with master artisans who have spent generations learning their craft. And we use AI to help every seeker — wherever they are in the world — find the stone that speaks to their deepest need.

Why Ganesha?

Ganesha is the Hindu god of wisdom, beginnings, and the remover of obstacles. He is invoked first — before every ritual, every prayer, every new venture. His energy clears the path.

We chose Ganesha as the guardian of DevDeva not from any single tradition, but because his archetype transcends tradition: the wise, joyful, elephant-headed god who uses both the sharp tusk of discernment and the broken tusk of surrender to write the stories of our lives.

Our "Murali" aspect shows Ganesha playing the flute — the instrument of joy, of being fully present, of turning even obstacles into music. We want every DevDeva wearer to carry that energy.
